Butterfingers and Lander's AUSTRALIAN shortbread biscuits and cookies are made by The Old Colonial Cookie Company Pty Ltd, a family business established in 1981.

The product brands exist in some 35 different packaging forms for local and export market requirements for branded, private label and international specific packaging needs.

We primarily bake to order to ensure freshness of the product and operate under a HACCP Accredited Food Safety Program, which drives the business and is supported by a twelve member production team. HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point and is the Australian standard for food safety.

 

The company continues to invest in new baking and packaging equipment and facilities, which ensures a more consistently baked shortbread and greater capacity.

The Butterfingers shortbread brand is exported to Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China (into Shanghai), New Zealand and Dubai, while the Lander's AUSTRALIAN brand range is exported to Canada and the USA. New markets are being added on a regular basis.

Both Butterfingers and Lander’s AUSTRALIAN products are available throughout Australia in supermarkets, independent grocery stores and delicatessens.
